There are so many plant-based milk options. The variety and sheer quantity of different milks nowadays is dizzying! I'm here to narrow down the best store-bought ones for all different purposes.


Without further ado, here are my favorites.


Best Overall: Almond Breeze Unsweetened Original

Best For Baking: Oat Milk (any kind!)


I find that in my experience, oat milk has provided the perfect texture and flavor for all baking needs. Cakes, pancakes, muffins, cookies... the possibilities are endless!

Best for Smoothies & Shakes: Kirkland Signature Organic Soy Non-Dairy Beverage Original


4 grams of sugar per cup gently sweeten this thick, protein-rich milk, making it perfect for smoothies, shakes, and smoothie bowls.

Best for Cereal: Almond Milk (any kind)

I like almond milk the best in cereal because it doesn't taste like much, giving whatever cereal you pair it with the chance to shine.


Best Boujee Plant Milk: Califia Unsweetened Almondmilk

This almond milk is for all y'all who appreciate the nicer things in life. This almond milk is a little on the expensive side. But if you're feeling like splurging, it's a delicious one to go with. Plus- the packaging. OMG, the packaging. It's super slick. This milk, or its "original" sweetened counterpart is delicious with cereal.


Best for Drinking Straight: Silk Chocolate Soy Milk

Luxuriously creamy and chocolatey heaven! This Silk brand chocolate soy milk is my favorite chocolate milk. It's packed with protein from the soybeans but doesn't taste healthy at all! :)
