Guacamole Recipe

Serves 4-6 as a snack
Right in the middle of winter, we need a reminder of those warm summer days. This quick and easy guacamole is a healthy snack that your whole family and friends will love!
Ingredients:
· 3 avocados
· 1 large tomato
· Juice of 1 lemon or lime
· 2 pinches salt
· A pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
· Tortilla or corn chips, for serving
Tools:
Cutting board, serrated knife, med. bowl, sm. bowl, spoon, potato masher, lemon juicer
Directions:
1. Slice the top leaves and stem off of tomato. Remove seeds and core and dice flesh. Place in a medium bowl.
2. Cut avocados in half lengthwise and, using a spoon, dig flesh off of seed and skin. Discard seeds and skins. Add to tomatoes in the bowl.
3. Squeeze the lemon juice into a small bowl and remove seeds. Add juice to the avocado and tomato mixture. Add salt and cayenne.
4. Mash everything together with the potato masher until the consistency is to your liking.
6. Serve with chips and enjoy!
Notes:
Add onion and cumin for extra flavor. Like spicy guac? Add cayenne or chili pepper.
